Doreen joined Imagine Her in January 2022 as a Social Enterprise Innovation & Incubator program where she is responsible for training facilitation & supporting the growth of the program’s scholars, (Youth & Women). Doreen’s career journey started when she joined World Education Bantwana Program as an Economic Strengthening Field Assistant on a USAID Project (Better Outcomes for Children & Youth) where she was in charge of starting up Income Generating Activities (IGAs) and VSLAs for Vulnerable households while overseeing their growth.

She later volunteered with Teach A Man To Fish Uganda, on the Girl Education Challenge Project as a Field Resource Person where she trained Vulnerable households and Girls in business start-ups & created IGAs for the same. All this experience prepared her path to her current role with Imagine Her today.

Doreen holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management from Makerere University Business School and a Diploma in Business Administration from Makerere Business Training Center. She is passionate about the economic independence of girls and women.
